Long time no see.

I was looking for your X handle to investigate what was going with you.

As a fellow physician (not as exciting, as emergency medicine, just urology) I made a non-double blinded “study” with my colleagues in the hospital and 90% weren’t aware of BTC nor crypto assets.

Besides that, here in Mexico, the few that know about Bitcoin existence, are not willing to invest on it because they trust more traditional banks. Go figure.

Not so easy to educate on others.

Keep sharing your knowledge.

Best regards,

Jon

Hey! @cryptofordocs is my handle. It's going to take decades +. It really is a generational shift in mindset. I think the Zoomers will grasp it when they hit their late 30s or 40s. Luckily bitcoin has all the time in the world! It's hard to get people to have a long term mindset since fiat has made us all hyper short term thinkers. At some point bitcoin will become so obvious and almost essential to own - just like the iPhone, but that just takes time. However, when it does happen it will be gradually and then suddenly! I actually would prefer the gradually phase to persist for another decade or so as the world isn't ready yet for a bitcoin standard. Luckily, I think that will be the case. Cheers!

Chris -- have you read about the Bitcoin Power Law? Any thoughts on it?https://giovannisantostasi.medium.com/the-bitcoin-power-law-theory-962dfaf99ee9

Yea I think it's really interesting and I follow the guy who is pushing it currently. From a mathematics perspective, apparently it's unprecedented. However, like all models, they will eventually fail. I don't need a model to tell me bitcoin's price is going up, and I honestly could care less how fast it goes up which is what all these models are trying to do. Bitcoin is generational wealth, I'm not selling it for any price and hopefully can convey that to my kids as well. Thus, price is irrelevant to me more or less as long as it is going up over a long time period. Also, like Saylor says, "all your models are destroyed" when a few billionaires wake up and decide they need some. Thus, it's fun to pontificate on, but I don't put much emphasis on it, just like Plan B's model. These next 2 years will be FASCINATING regarding all of these models. Let's watch.
